UFC’s notorious loud mouth Conor Mcgregor has given his take on Tom Aspinall calling out Jon Jones for a fight. And to everyone’s surprise the Irishman actually makes a lot of sense.
Recently, Conor was in a podcast for Duelbets where he talked about a lot of UFC related stuff. From his return to Jon Jones. While talking about the long stall in the heavyweight division he said, “Thoughts on Jones avoiding Aspinall… I disagree with that, I think the Jones Stipe fight is huge… There’s a way to go for the English lad to come up and get that [undisputed title]… I think the matchmaking has been stellar, I think Curtis [Blaydes] and Tom is a good fight.”
Conor McGregor says that Jon Jones isn’t ducking Tom Aspinall, and says “there’s a way to go” for Aspinall before he becomes undisputed:

The two heavyweights will fight at the UFC 304 in England. Previously in 2022, Aspinall faced off against Blaydes in one of the shortest fights in the UFC.
In the fight Aspinall, hailing from England, suffered a right knee injury early in the fight. And Curtis Blaydes was awarded an injury TKO win. It was on the few times when a UFC main event was marred by an injury.
Now, they are set to face of again. And Tom Aspinall has everything at stake. His reputation as the number one contender and his UFC heavyweight interim title belt.
