The news that Tony Ferguson will be pulling out of UFC 223 left the fans in utter shock and disbelief. However, many fans were still optimistic as they believed that Conor McGregor might step in to save the day. Though, their hopes were soon crushed as reports started coming out that McGregor had refused to fight Nurmagomedov. The Russian’s manager Ali Abdelaziz has come out and slammed McGregor in a recent interview.
Abdelaziz recently did an interview with TMZ Sports. Here’s what he had to say:
Max is the real Hawaiian warrior, Conor is a little European punk. It is like men and boys, and Max he is with the men, Conor with the boys. You know he (Conor) talks good, “I’m like Burger King’s model. You know buy my sandwich, buy my chicken.”
Why would he want to fight with a bear like Khabib, he is going to kill him, you understand. He is not 100 % a real fighter. He only fights when he knows he can win. Now he can sit with his Burger King commercials, sit back, maybe he can do Victory Cigarettes and some stuff, you know. Max is a man, Conor is a boy.
I don’t call him Dana these days, he is my nephew. I call my nephew and says, “Oh Conor’s not available. His phone is not charged, he lost his charger. He is in Syria. So it is a whole bunch of bul**hit, but hey, Dana is my guy. You know, I give him passes all the time and he give me passes too. I understand that hey, he (Conor) is his step son and he has to protect him.
You know who is Conor’s daddy? Khabib is his daddy and he is so afraid of his daddy. So you understand, but Khabib is my brother and that means I am his (Conor) uncle, that means Khabib is his daddy. This motherf**ker is so afraid of his daddy, that he knows his daddy is a half man-half bear and he has a eagle claw. That’s why he does not want this.
It’s a shame. All Irish people I know are tough, tough as f**k. He is the only soft Irish I know.
