Floyd Mayweather dropped Japanese teen kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa three times in the opening round as the Japanese’s corner threw in the towel and Floyd won the fight via TKO.

Floyd started the fight just tossing his arms in the air and then Tenshin threw a left hand that kind of clipped him. Floyd then just destroyed him. Walked through his punches and just knocked him down repeatedly until Nasukawa’s corner saw enough to throw in the towel.

He made just over a whopping $9 Million or ₹62 crore for a nine-minute exhibition bout. That translates to roughly $65,000 or ₹45 Lakhs per second.

Although, this fight is far away from the staggering $300 Million he made from his fight against Irish star Conor McGregor back in 2017, it still a lot of money for a three-round exhibition fight.

Now, Conor McGregor has taken a shot at his former rival Mayweather for only making $9 Million for his win at RIZIN and implied that this amount won’t get him on top of the Forbes list this time.

Floyd Mayweather was the Forbes 2018’s highest-earning athlete and Conor McGregor took the 4th spot with a whopping $99 Million. All thanks to the record PPV sales which sold around 4.4 Million buys in North America which is roughly $440 Million, including a gate of $55 Million.

However, it’s unlikely that Floyd will make the 2019 Forbes list whereas Conor McGregor might very well make it to the list, as he is rumoured to have made around $50 Million for his fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 last year.
