“The Notorious” Conor McGregor has found a new adversary within Henry Cejudo, and the two former UFC champions recently went back and forth on Twitter regarding McGregor’s new training videos. A criticism from Cejudo was not received well from the Irishman, as McGregor had the choicest reaction to Triple C.
Quiet, you bum: Conor McGregor responds to Henry Cejudo’s criticism
It all started with McGregor posting a 28-minute clip of a focus pad practice session on Twitter. The former UFC double champ, who has been out of action since losing to Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight at UFC 264 in July and ending up with a leg fracture, has been working hard to get back to peak performance ahead of his Octagon return.
“Think of your straights as swords, and your hooks as hammers. @McGregorFast,” McGregor captioned the clip.

In the meantime of the video capturing over 579k views and almost 10k likes, Henry Cejudo opened up on his take on McGregor’s technique, saying that he needs to focus more on the entries rather than combinations.
“Everything is done naked. No fakes, no faints, no level changes. But you think your going to get a different result. You work to much on combinations where you should be working entries, set ups, and setting traps. Just a tip from the goat mahhhh,” Cejudo, who hinted at a return to the UFC in February, said in a retweet.

Cejudo’s words did not sit well with McGregor, who responded back with his own reprimand of his critic’s opinion, as well as compared their KO stats, before finishing off by calling Cejudo a “bum”.
“The opening punches are the traps/feints/fakes. You ever hear or see that before? Your little feints won’t draw me out, kid. But pump a few real shots you might get a response. You are a little fat novice with about 2 KO’s. At bantam. I’ve 20. Across 3 divisions. Quiet, you bum!” McGregor’s response read.
