UFC women’s featherweight champion and probably the most dangerous woman to ever step inside the octagon Cris Cyborg will defend her belt for the third time against bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in a super fight at UFC 232 on December 29.

The card is in the midst of a huge controversy as one of the main event participant, former light heavyweight and champion Jon Jones was tested positive for the third time in his UFC career. As a result, the entire card was relocated from Las Vegas to California as the Nevada State Athletic Commission didn’t allow Jones to compete.

The main event got saved however the relocation of the card took a huge toll on other fighters on the card. Fighters weren’t even informed about the relocation as they came to know about it through social media. The haphazard arrangement got criticism all over social media including the co-main event participant Cris Cyborg.

“This is crazy,” Cyborg said. “They’re supposed to contact everybody. We’re partners. We’re partners. We can’t partner together … and they don’t contact you before. But I was in touch with my manager and he didn’t know, too. He was buying gifts for his family. Nobody knows. Just really don’t like. How can you call media and not call your fighters? For you to prepare yourself before and handle things before. How long do they know this? ”

Another main card fighter Corey ‘Overtime’ Anderson had to deal with the the relocation. Anderson was on her way to Vegas which his 7 month pregnant wife when he got the news.
