Cyborg tweeted, she doesn’t want to experience what Valentina Shevchenko did at UFC 213.

Ahead of the super fight between women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes, the women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg showed her concern regarding the fight as she wants a backup fighter for UFC 232 in case her opponent,  Amanda Nunes decides to pull out.

On her part, she tweeted “ The UFC had an extra welterweight make weight when Tyron Woodley fought Darren Till just in case anyone got injured”.

Mentioning Mick Maynard, one of the matchmakers in UFC, Cyborg continued by saying,

“I would like to see another female featherweight do the same thing for Dec 29 UFC 232, Mick Maynard, so I don’t have to experience what Valentina Shevchenko did at UFC 213”.

A few months back in an interview with  Brazilian television show Combate News, Cyborg said, “I think this fight will be my last in the UFC, because my contract expires in March, and doing this fight in December, I think it will be the last that people will see me fight.”

This also shows Cyborg desperately wants to fight at UFC 232.
