The First ADCC India Nationals (open only to Indians) successfully concluded yesterday at the DLF Avenue Mall, Saket, New Delhi. India. Grapplers from all over India took part in this tournament.
Grapplers from some of the most prestigious gyms across the country displayed their grappling prowess. Athletes from 18 gyms took part in this tournament. There were a total of 245 grappling matches at the ADCC Nationals. There were a total of 35 categories. A total of 250 grapplers took part in the tournament.
New Delhi’s Crosstrain Combat Club emerged as the best gym in this tournament. The gym earned 91 points and managed to secure 15 Gold 4 Silver and 4 Bronze medals at the ADCC India Nationals 2020.
The runner-ups were Bangaluru based Institute of Jiu-Jitsu. The gym earned 69 points and managed to secure 6 Gold, 10 Silver, 9 Bronze.
The third position holders were Warriors Cove MMA. The gym is based in Gurugram and the grapplers from this gym managed to secure 4 Gold, 6 Silver and 1 Bronze. They also earned 39 points.
