Dan “Hendo” Henderson is fondly known to us MMA fans as the humble giant with a history of fighting for premier MMA promotions like UFC, Pride and StrikeForce. Well, now you can perhaps add Bellator to that count as well! Although not fighting, Hendo is scheduled to appear for the Monster Energy Bellator MMA Fight Series which will be taking place during the May 19 & 20 NASCAR weekend.

The 46 year old retired fighter and Olympian will be signing autographs and promoting the event for Bellator. Fans can thank Bellator President Scott Coker for this who has been a personal friend of Henderson since his days in Strikeforce.

Bellator seems to be stacking the event with some big names like Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Kazushi Sakuraba, Wanderlei Silva, Royce Gracie and Fedor Emelianenko who will also be present. The main event is set for a Heavyweight bout  between Allen Crowder of North Carolina and Robert Neal of Georgia with a possible Bellator contract for the winners.
