Dana White has a plan in mind for who will face Valentina Shevchenko next. Of all the people on the UFC roster, he has his eye on one, Jessica ‘Evil’ Eye.
Valentina Shevchenko is the current UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion after she moved down to Flyweight recently. At UFC 231, Shevchenko took on an old rival she was very familiar with. During her previous career in Muay Thai, she had faced Joanna Jedrzejczyk and beaten her on all three occasions. At UFC 231, something bigger was on the line, as the UFC Flyweight Title was vacant at the time.
The two clashed, and Valentina Shevchenko emerged as the Champion, having beaten Joanna a fourth time — this time in MMA.

At UFC 231, lower down the card was another fighter. Jessica Eye faced Katlyn Chookagian, and there she defeated her via Split Decision. Jessica Eye is the number 1 ranked fighter in the UFC Women’s Flyweight Division. Jessica Eye is on a three-fight win streak, and if Dana White has his way, she might be the next person to challenge Shevchenko for the UFC Women’s Flyweight title.
There has also been a rumour that Amanda Nunes might come down to the Flyweight Division next to challenge for the title. Given that she has a win over Shevchenko, this is also a possibility should it happen.
