UFC President Dana White has once again upped the stakes for fighters by announcing that he will hand out two “Fight of the Night” bonuses at UFC 303. The event is scheduled to take place on June 30, 2024, in Las Vegas.
Dana White’s Decision
During Friday’s UFC 303 Press Conference, Dana White addressed the crowd and boldly declared, “Yeah, f–k it, I’ll do it.” This decision comes after a request from UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje led to an increase in bonuses for UFC 300 from $50,000 to $300,000.
The Bonus Amount
Dana White plans to award a total of $100,000 in bonuses, with each bonus worth $50,000. The move was prompted by the difficulty in choosing just one standout fight for International Fight Week 2024. The 10 fighters on the main card of UFC 303 have collectively earned 11 prior “Fight of the Night” bonuses, making the competition even fiercer.

Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira UFC 303 main Event
UFC 303 promises an exciting main card where Alex Pereira defends his light heavyweight title against Jiri Prochazka in a rematch of their UFC 295 showdown.
Pereira, a one-of-a-kind addition to the UFC roster, holds a 10-2 record and has claimed gold at both middleweight and light heavyweight. Prochazka, despite falling to Pereira in their first meeting, returned at UFC 300 with a second-round stoppage win and a Performance of the Night bonus.
This rematch promises fireworks as both fighters look to settle the score as both fighters will be looking to opt for offensive tactics right from the start. Only time will tell which way the tide will turn and whether Jiri Prochazka will get his revenge or will Alex Pereira emerge victorious once again.
