Dana White scotched talk of a Cris Cyborg vs Megan Anderson fight by saying in no uncertain terms, ‘Cris Cyborg vs Amanda Nunes is the fight to make, that’s the fight i will make. That’s the fight.’
So looks like Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino will next defend her UFC featherweight title against reigning bantamweight champion and fellow Brazilian Amanda Nunes.
Cyborg (19-1) just defended her 145-pound belt with a decision win over Holly Holm at UFC 219, while Nunes (15-4) last fought against Valentina Shevchenko in September, retaining her 135-pound strap in a split decision.
“Amanda Nunes wants to fight Cyborg,” White told Yahoo Sports. “That is the fight to make, and that is the fight I will make. That’s the fight. Amanda Nunes is a big, strong, powerful puncher. I think she matches up very well with Cyborg too and I think that’s a fun fight and that’s the fight to make.”

Cyborg though had in the run up to UFC 219 stated that she thinks ‘Holly is tougher than Amanda.’
Either ways, looks like we’re going to have the first women’s champion against champion fight on our hands.
