Dana White: Flyweight title defence next for Triple C

Ever since the UFC flyweight champion, Henry Cejudo shocked the entire world to defeat Marlon Moraes and become the UFC bantamweight champion as well, there have been plenty of questions surrounding his future and which belt will he actually defend. Thankfully, much to the relief of everyone involved, the UFC President Dana White has now seemingly solved this conundrum by revealing to everyone that Cejudo will indeed be moving back down in weight to defend his flyweight title, most probably against Joseph Benavidez.

It should be noted that Benavidez already holds an extremely close and rather controversial decision victory over Cejudo and this has been eagerly gunning for another a rematch.

White was recently in a conversation with TMZ Sports, he revealed that he feels Benavidez has done enough to warrant a title shot that Cejudo will be defending both the belts, but he will first defend the flyweight title next. Here’s what he had to say:

You’d have to look at Joe [Benavidez], [At 135] I don’t know but next, he should defend that title. He would go to 125, defend that title, then we would decide who he would fight next. As long as Cejudo is willing to defend both titles, I think he is a guy that can carry both of them, and by both of them, I mean both divisions.
