In the most exciting trilogy to take place in UFC, Daniel Cormier fell short in his contest against the Heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 252. The 41-year-old has decided to hang up his boots despite the loss citing to the additional responsibilities he has in his life.
Be that as it may, Dana White isn’t prepared to acknowledge that. The UFC president still believes that the fans and MMA community would see Daniel ‘DC’ Cormier set foot inside the octagon again.
Dana White had also mentioned about the first instance he took notice of DC. It was during his Strikeforce days and in particular his fight against Josh Barnett. Dana White remembers this instance vividly as he stated that he does not watch any of his competitors show and how he did break this tradition for Daniel Cormier. According to him, DC is a very tough guy with an incredible fight IQ which gave him an added advantage during his tenure at UFC.
Dana White didn't immediately think much of Daniel Cormier, but that all changed after one fight early in his career.

Dana White thinks Daniel Cormier will battle once more
In the post-battle interview of UFC 252, Dana White shed light on numerous issues, including Daniel Cormier’s UFC venture. In spite of the decision Cormier’s decision to retire, White sees a possible come back from him later on. He has consistently demonstrated to be a major draw for the association, and White is obviously not prepared to say farewell yet.
“The guy has been the best to work with. He is easy. He wanted to fight everybody“.
White included, “He is willing to do anything. He is a great guy. He is a great ambassador of the sport. I think me saying he won’t retire is my kind of hoping he does not retire.
“But whatever he decides to do, I am happy for him.”
“I will let him do his thing. I am not going to remark on it.”
Further, he stated, “I did not talk to him. He walked right off the octagon, did his interview, and I am assuming he is not on his way to the hospital. I just think, Cormier the way that guy is, the competitor he is. He says I am going, how like that. I don’t realize that is my prediction.”
If not inside the enclosure, the ‘DC Saga’ will proceed outside it. Two-division UFC champion Cormier is a heavenly individual from the discourse board and has soiled himself in a few different endeavours.
