Dana White Said This on UFC Fighters Making WWE Debut

Dana White, the president of the UFC, recently addressed the possibility of UFC fighters stepping into the WWE ring. During a post-UFC Fight Night event press conference, White expressed his openness to the idea, especially now that Vince McMahon is no longer a thorn in his side.

Dana White Opens Up on Derrick Lewis

White stated, “I would do anything for Derrick Lewis. I really like Derrick Lewis a lot. Some of the fighters who compete in the UFC have always dreamed about doing a WWE match. I don’t have a problem with that. I mean, I didn’t have a problem with that when Vince was consistently causing issues for me, but now that’s not the case anymore, I would absolutely do it.”

When asked about the possibility of appearing as a special guest referee in WWE, White responded that it would “never happen.” However, his willingness to allow UFC fighters to explore opportunities in professional wrestling shows a refreshing openness to cross-promotion.

Former UFC fighter turned professional wrestler Tom Lawlor found White’s comments amusing, tweeting, “L O fucking L.”

Is Derrick Lewis Really Heading Towards WWE?

Derrick Lewis, the hard-hitting UFC heavyweight, is eyeing a potential crossover into the world of professional wrestling. Despite being under a UFC contract, Lewis has expressed interest in dabbling in WWE. He recently revealed that he’s in talks with WWE officials and plans to visit their facility in Orlando, Florida.

UFC President Dana White supports this idea, stating that he would do anything for Lewis and has no problem with UFC fighters exploring WWE opportunities. It seems “The Black Beast” might soon make waves both inside and outside the octagon!

Only time will tell which way the tide will turn and if Derrick Lewis will get a chance to fight in the WWE or if he will forever be loyal to the Octagon and Dana White.
