The UFC President Dana White has expressed interest in making a comeback fight for the former UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson on one of the undercards of the ‘Conor McGregor Vs Khabib Nurmagomedov’ fight later this year. The UFC boss made these statements while addressing the media during UFC Calgary.

Tony was scheduled to fight Khabib Nurmagomedov in a much-anticipated lightweight title bout in UFC 223. But a week before the fight, he tripped over a cable and injured his Lateral Collateral Ligament (LCL). Tony was replaced by Al Iaquinta, who was defeated by Khabib via unanimous decision to became the undisputed Lightweight champion.
