The former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till has seemingly hit a roadblock on his dreams of becoming a UFC champion after he faced two brutal losses and also faced plenty of weight cutting issues at welterweight. Thus, he decided to move up to Middleweight. It has now officially been confirmed that Till will be moving up at UFC 244 to face the former UFC middleweight title contender Kelvin Gastelum.

TIll currently has a professional MMA record of 17-2-1. He was previously undefeated in the UFC, though has now lost two fights to the former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley and Jorge Masvidal. On the other hand, Gastelum has a professional MMA record of 15-4 (1) and lost his last fight to the UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker.

It was widely being speculated that a fight will be booked between the duo and it was recently officially confirmed by ESPN’s Brett Okamoto.
