Date set for Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3!

We just witnessed another epic but this time rather one sided contest between the newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion of the world Tyson The Gypsy King Fury and the former recently dethroned kingpin Deontay Bronze Bomber Wilder. And now by the looks of it they are still not done yet, as another third fight, a rubber match between the two has now officially been scheduled as an instant rematch for the American. A venue too has apparently been decided for the bout.

The first fight between the two took place back in December of 2018 and ended up being a rather controversial split draw. Fury had dominated the first fight with his slick movement and far superior and technically adept boxing skills right from the get go till the very end of the fight. He completely dominated 10 out of the twelve rounds of the fight, arguably losing just two rounds in which he got knocked down, including miraculously getting up from a late 12th round knockdown. In the ned, both fighters seemed satisfied with a draw and accepted the result.

Their rematch took place last month on the 22nd of February. While a lot of people did predict Fury to win, rarely anyone thought he was going to win in such a spectacular fashion via a brutal knockout. Only Fury and his team predicted this, and fans and pundits alike refused to believe that this could happen. However, Fury boxed like never before, putting aside his knowledge of the sweet science of boxing and instead taking an aggressive slugger like approach. He knocked down Wilder a couple of times and put on an absolute clinic before Wilder’s corner was forced to throw in the towel to save him from even more damage.

Wilder had a rematch clause in his contract that could have been activated with in just 30 days of the fight taking place. He has activated the rematch clause and now the duo will again lock horns and battle it out on July 18th in Las Vegas with the winner probably taking on Anthony Joshua in a unification bout.
