Derrick Lewis has again proved that he is a strong candidate for the funniest UFC fighter by wanting to knock out the lightweight champion Daniel Cormier. There are no doubts regarding Derricks ability in doing so, but his rationale behind making such an argument is hilarious.
Cormier said that Lewis told him backstage that he wants to knockout him out.

Derrick was spotted alongside the light heavyweight champion Cormier during the UFC 226 pre-fight press conference. On being asked why he wanted to knockout Cormier by the light heavyweight champ himself, Derrick explained that he was not impressed by the way Cormier treated Popeyes chicken.
He added that Cormier disrespected popeyes chicken when he portrayed it in one of the funny music videos he made earlier. These statements were unexpected for the crowd and everyone including Cormier burst into laughter.
Derrick who is about to face the heavyweight nightmare Francis Ngannou in UFC 226 looked very relaxed and still manages to maintain his funny persona.
