Diana Belbita recently came out to WWE Superstar’s theme song at UFC Vegas 85.
In a featured preliminary bout at UFC Fight Night, England’s Molly McCann secured an impressive first-round submission victory over Canadian-based strawweight Diana Belbita. McCann, previously on a two-fight skid with first-round submission losses, turned the tables by dominating the fight. Despite Diana Belbita having a three-inch height advantage and a six-inch reach advantage at five-foot-seven, McCann strategically dominated the fight by executing two takedowns and emerging victorious in the striking battle. Late in the first round, McCann transitioned to a devastating armbar, forcing Belbita to tap with just one-second remaining. Belbita screamed in pain as McCann celebrated. Medical staff rushed to her aid, and McCann joined to offer support after a victory lap.

Diana Belbita comes out to Bianca Belair’s theme song at UFC Vegas 85
Diana Belbita made her entrance to the octagon in UFC Vegas 85 to WWE superstar Bianca Belair’s theme song. The former WWE Women’s champion has a catchy theme song that previously captured the attention of the iconic WWE superstar “The Apex Predator” Randy Orton.

Following a tag team championship unification match against The Usos back in May 2023, Randy Orton and Matt Riddle fell short against the Bloodline members. Post-match, WWE scripted a storyline angle for Orton’s hiatus due to a serious back injury. In a candid moment off-camera, after the event, as Orton was being assisted backstage, he encountered Bianca Belair. The 42-year-old, breaking character, engaged in a light-hearted moment, hopping to the rhythm of Belair’s theme song while making his way to the backstage area, providing fans with an endearing off-screen glimpse of the Viper.

Diana Belbita, based in Stoney Creek, Ontario, suffered her third loss in the last four UFC appearances, dropping her record to 3-5-0 in the organization. McCann, now 7-5-0 in the UFC, expressed regret for not being in the correct weight class earlier in her career. McCann’s victory marked a significant moment in her career, showcasing her adaptability and resilience in the highly competitive strawweight division.
A concerning loss for Diana Belbita in which she managed to land just 29 of her 77 strikes with a 37.7% success rate. She managed to make no takedowns as her counterpart handled her with ease on the ground. This is her 2nd loss to Molly McCann, the previous one being in the Flyweight division back in 2019.
