Nate Diaz vs Jorge Masvidal 2 in works for January
UFC is targetting a rematch between Nate Diaz and former welterweight title challenger Jorge Masvidal for January earlier this year.
The first fight took place at the Madison Square Garden in New York City last November. It was the main event of UFC 244 and also the biggest fight of the year and was graced by the presence of the President of the United States of America.
Jorge Masvidal won the fight via TKO [Doctor’s stoppage] in the third round after Diaz had two huge cuts which he sustained early on during the fight.

Kamaru Usman vs Gilbert Burns set for UFC 256 on December 12
The UFC welterweight title fight between champion Kamaru Usman and challenger Gilbert Burns that was derailed in July appears to be on track for Dec. 12 at UFC 256. The news was verified by UFC president Dana White.
Both the fighters have an immaculate record to showcase (Usman: 17-1. Burns: 19-3), and the fight will pick up steam in the coming weeks/months, to ultimately shoot fireworks on December 12.

Dana White willing to book Jones vs Lesnar
UFC president Dana White is open to booking Brock Lesnar vs Jon Jones only if both the parties are seriously interested to make the fight happen.
Though there are plenty of hurdles to clear before a fight between Jones the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and Lesnar who was the former UFC heavyweight champ and longtime pro wrestling superstar could take place.

Ray Borg comes out of retirement after one week
Former flyweight title challenger Ray Borg has ended retirement after just one week. He was released by the UFC last month after he pulled out of his scheduled fight against Nathan Maness at UFC on ESPN+ 31.
That was the second time in little over a month that Ray Borg has had to miss the fight. He was supposed to fight at UFC on ESPN 10 against Merab Dvalishvili but had to pull out of the fight for personal reasons.

Cody Garbrandt tested positive for Covid-19
Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt has tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of his Flyweight title match against Deiveson Figueiredo.
AG Fight first reported that Cody Garbrandt tested positive for the COVID-19. The former UFC bantamweight champion reportedly tested positive earlier in the week for COVID-19 and he is currently in isolation as he waits for the results of his latest test. In the report, Garbrandt is said to have suffered only mild symptoms including a headache.

Alistair Overeem knocks out Augusto Sakai
Former heavyweight title challenger Alistair Overeem knocked out rising contender Augusto Sakai in the fourth round. He was behind on the scorecards for the first two rounds, but he started turning things around in the third and fourth round after taking Sakai down and destroying his face with hard elbows and ground and pound.
