Dillon Danis hasn’t fought much in his mixed martial arts career. But he finds way to kill his time on social media instead.
It was just the last week that Danis announced that he was getting ready to fight YouTube star Jake Paul. This week it is Ben Askren who is on the online hit list of the Brazilian jiu-jitsu master.
Danis has ridiculed Askren in a NSFW tweet.

Prior to this altercation between the two, Askren had mocked Danis for his withdrawal from ADCC. Danis wants to achieve a cross promotional fight with Askren . The latter has already done the same with organizations like RIZIN and BAMMA. However, pulling off such a feat between the two biggest organisations in the business would be a great task in itself.
“You know’s crazy? I feel like this cross-promotion thing is getting closer and closer and I really think that it’s gonna happen,” Dillon said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show recently. “I really think that me and Ben Askren are gonna fight. I really do think so. I think it’s gonna happen for some reason.”
“I was talking to Scott Coker and they were talking about cross-promotion and he’s open to doing it with the UFC. I really think that if Ben Askren wants to do, it it’s gonna happen. So I think it’s on him.”
Askren is yet to break his silence on a cross promotional fight with McGregor’s stablemate. He has expressed interest in fighting the young prospect in a grappling match as well.
“At this point, it’s my MMA career [I’m focused on],” Askren said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. “When I am done with that if I chose to take part in a grappling contest it would be Dillion Danis.
“Obviously, he challenged me to a grappling match,” he added. “After my MMA career that’s something I would definitely do.”
Right now Askren is trying to get his UFC career back in line. This past July, his undefeated record took hit in a fashion that he wouldn’t want to remember. His next fight is scheduled for UFC Singapore on October 26 against Damian Maia.
