Dustin Poirier reveals that Conor McGregor is the hardest hitter he has fought - Poirier

He recently fought against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he lost the fight via unanimous decision. However, he recently revealed on social media about the hardest puncher he has ever fought. He said that former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was the hardest puncher he has ever fought.

McGregor and Poirier fought back in 2014 at UFC 178, where the Irishmen defeated him via TKO in the first round. Poirier has recently been calling out McGregor for a rematch.

However, McGregor was quick to turn the fight down.

I fed you to the canvas in 90 seconds bro. You should have spoke my name with a bit more respect in that build up. “McGregor’s not next” Motherfucker, it’s McGregor always! McGregor is the goal! Always! Say that now and I’ll think about it,” McGregor tweeted.

Ever since that loss to McGregor, Lousiana native Dustin has amassed a record of 9-2-1 and became the interim lightweight champion. Both fighters are currently in the same weight class and have suffered loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in their last fight.
