Dustin Poirier has fought some of the best fighters in the UFC and that included the likes of Conor McGregor, Holloway, Khabib, Gaethje etc. The fans are in for a treat every time Poirier fights because of his entertaining style.
He recently fought against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he lost the fight via unanimous decision. However, he recently revealed on social media about the hardest puncher he has ever fought. He said that former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor was the hardest puncher he has ever fought.

McGregor and Poirier fought back in 2014 at UFC 178, where the Irishmen defeated him via TKO in the first round. Poirier has recently been calling out McGregor for a rematch.
I think me and Conor running it back makes a lot of sense at this point.

However, McGregor was quick to turn the fight down.
I fed you to the canvas in 90 seconds bro.
You should have spoke my name with a bit more respect in that build up. “McGregor’s not next”
Motherfucker, it’s McGregor always!
McGregor is the goal! Always!
Say that now and I’ll think about it.#GoneIn90seconds #NicCage #AJolie— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) September 10, 2019

Ever since that loss to McGregor, Lousiana native Dustin has amassed a record of 9-2-1 and became the interim lightweight champion. Both fighters are currently in the same weight class and have suffered loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov in their last fight.
