Dustin Poirier has blasted former two-division UFC champion, Conor McGregor, for not following up with the promise of donating money to The Good Fight Foundation following their fight at UFC 257.

In January, McGregor Sports & Entertainment CEO Alan Geraghty confirmed that Conor McGregor had made a donation of $500,000 to the foundation, however, now it looks like Team Poirier hasn’t received the cheque yet.

Dustin Poirier took to social media where he predicted that he was going to finish Conor McGregor with a front kick and roasted him for not going through with the donation.

That’s a fun prediction! @TheNotoriousMMA you also predicted a donation to my foundation and you and your team stopped responding after the fight in January. See you soon. July 10th Paid In Full!

We thanked him because his team reached out fight week to initiate the process but ghosted us the past 2 months after the fight. My foundation has reached out 3 times since with no reply. We’ve moved past it! We will be announcing our next goal soon! Its a big one,” Poirier tweeted.

In the meantime, the pair are scheduled to fight at UFC 264 on July 10.

Conor McGregor suffered the first-ever stoppage loss of his MMA career against Dustin Poirier in the main event of UFC 257, which took place at Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.

Dustin Poirier knocked out Conor McGregor in the second round to avenge his loss to the Irishmen from their first fight which took place back in 2014 at UFC 178. Back then, McGregor had knocked out Poirier in the first round.

Poirier executed his game plan perfectly and invested in low calf kicks early in the fight and also managed to score a takedown early in the fight. While he also ate a couple of hard shots from McGregor early on, he ultimately the calf kicks caught up to the Irishmen and he got knocked out for the first time in his professional MMA career.

UFC president Dana White hasn’t said much about the venue yet, but it’s highly likely that the fight will be heading to the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will be open to fans as per ESPN.

How will Conor McGregor vs Dustin Poirier 3 go?

Last month in an appearance on Joe Rogan Podcast, Dustin Poirier said that the Irishmen was going to make adjustments and the fight will be completely different than the one that took place at UFC 257.

It’s fighting man, I don’t think you ever really (have someone’s number). He’ll make adjustments. It’ll be a completely different fight,” Dustin Poirier said to Joe Rogan on his podcast. “Like the first one and the second one were different, the third one is going to be different as well. I’m going to make adjustments as well. I’m going to switch it up, keep things fresh and keep him guessing.”
