In a mouth-watering contest, former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson is all set to fight Donald Cerrone at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois at UFC 238 this weekend. The fight will be the co-main event for UFC 238.
This matchup has got MMA fans excited around the world and in many sense even more than the main event itself where Henry Cejudo moves up in weight class to fight Marlon Moraes for the UFC bantamweight title.
Ferguson’s coach Eddie Bravo and UFC commentator and podcast host Joe Rogan are also extremely excited about this fight. In the latest segment of Joe Rogan Experience, Bravo guaranteed that Ferguson is going to be 100% in cowboy fight.
Tony has had a lot of personal ups and downs in recent years. He fought only once in the last 20 months, before that he had a surgery and then personal family problems including his concern about his recent mental health.
“He’s sharper, stronger, in the best shape of his life,” Bravo said on the “JRE MMA Show” podcast this week. “It’s the same, Tony. You think, like, is it going to be the same Tony after he had some family stuff go on? Is that going to change him? His opponents hope it changes him, but he’s the same Tony when it comes to fighting.
“We don’t get into personal stuff, we just stick to fighting and the strategy. He’s sharper than ever. You can’t guarantee any wins, but I will guarantee he’s going to go in 100 percent, Tony.”
Who do you think wins this fight?
