Undisputed ONE Lightweight Muay Thai World Champion Regian Eersel demolished George Jarvis at ONE Fight Night 34 in Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium on Friday, August 1. It was one-way traffic for the Dutch-Surinamese World Champion, who overwhelmed the British challenger from start to finish.
Eersel dominated with punishing low kicks targeting Jarvis’s shins and thighs. “The Immortal” connected with a crisp right hand, dropping “G-Unit” to the mat. Though Jarvis recovered quickly, his comeback was brief against Eersel’s relentless assault.
The champion finished spectacularly with a teep kick, rapid punches, and an elbow strike. Eersel capped the highlight-reel sequence with a precise right hand, even attempting a flying knee as Jarvis fell. The referee stopped the contest at 1:24 of round one.
Eersel’s victory improved his record to 64-5, securing another successful title defense. ONE Chairman Chatri Sityodtong rewarded the spectacular performance with a $50,000 bonus, recognizing the champion’s dominant display and finishing ability.
In the co-main event, Thailand’s Rungrawee “Legatron” Sitsongpeenong showcased masterful distance control against towering Danish-Moroccan fighter Youssef Assouik. The Thai veteran employed precise kicks and strategic movement to neutralize Assouik’s reach advantage effectively.
Following three complete rounds, judges awarded Rungrawee a unanimous decision victory. This triumph extended his remarkable record to 158-48, marking his sixth victory in the world’s largest martial arts organization.
