Canadian Heavyweight Tim Hague died on Sunday after being knocked out in a boxing match Friday night against Adam Braidwood in Edmonton,Canada. He was 34 years of age.
He was knocked down in the fight quite a few times but the fight was called off only after he was knocked out cold.
He had joined the UFC in 2009 and after winning his first fight went on to accumulate three losses and was cut from the UFC after that. He returned in 2011 only to loose his first bout against Matt Mitrione.
His family released a statement asking for privacy in this difficult time.
