Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold has reignited his rivalry with fan-favorite Sean Strickland. The two fighters have been engaged in a war of words, and Rockhold isn’t holding back.
The Feud
The feud began after a recent episode of the Jaxxon Podcast, where Rockhold accused Strickland of faking his controversial persona for the cameras. Rockhold didn’t mince words, calling Strickland a “fake little b****” and expressing his desire to face him in the UFC octagon if Dana White gives him permission.
“I’m not a fan,” Rockhold told The Schmo. “He puts on the most boring fights of all time. He’s a fake, he’s a fraud. I think he’s f*cking acting up there. I’ve heard he’s got social media managers telling him what to do and telling him what to say. Let’s try to be a little more real, boy.”
In response, Strickland revealed that they had already sparred together before, and it hadn’t gone well for Rockhold. Sean Strickland also claimed they were scheduled to fight, but Rockhold pulled out a few weeks before the bout.
Rockhold’s Verbal Assault on Sean Strickland
Rockhold doubled down on his callout during an interview with The Schmo YouTube channel. He criticized Strickland’s fighting style, labeling his bouts as “the most boring fights of all-time.” Rockhold also accused Strickland of being a fraud, suggesting that he’s acting and has social media managers telling him what to say.
The tension between Rockhold and Strickland continues to escalate, leaving fans wondering if they’ll ever settle their differences inside the octagon. One thing is certain: this feud isn’t going away anytime soon.
