Short term greediness is gonna be it’s downfall: Netizens slam UFC on Twitter
Soon after the PFL purses were revealed, netizens took to Twitter to slam the UFC once again. The promotion has often been criticized, by fighters and fans alike, for low and unfair wages to its athletes, and this time, fans called its business model as “dystopian” and said that the promotion’s “short term greediness is gonna be it’s downfall.”
I don’t think you understand how much money these companies make in rights deals and advertising. Pfl isn’t simply a dystopian business model like ufc where they farm every dime of value out of the fighter and give them fractions of what other top athletes receive in revenue
