UFC has come a long way since its inception in 1993. Along the way, the promotion has evolved a lot over the years and has become the biggest and the best MMA organization in the world at this moment.
The top MMA promotion recently dropped a promotional video of their blockchain sponsor, VeChain on Instagram. The caption read:

UFC-VeChain partnership
UFC recently struck a five-year partnership and a sponsorship deal worth $100 million with blockchain logistics firm, VeChain. This marks the Las Vegas-based promotion’s first-ever top-level blockchain partner. The seven-year-old crypto initiative wanted to garner more audience by utilizing the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion’s global influence.
UFC is undoubtedly the biggest MMA organization at present and VeChain is the top sponsor for its MMA events. The marketing assets and brand are being integrated across the promotion in live events, in-arena promotion, social media, and other areas. The partnership kicked off on June 11 when VeChain’s assets were featured during an event held in Singapore. VeChain would also benefit from other broadcast and social media integrations.
VeChain is promoted further in the venue of the events on digital displays, and both firms are generating content for the top MMA promotion’s digital platforms, which will reach around 200 million people as per estimates. At the time of the deal, it was also revealed that an annual ‘Brand Ambassador Fund’ will also provide paid opportunities to UFC athletes participating in VeChain marketing initiatives.
