When will Sean O’Malley fight next?
Sean O’Malley has been a star in the making ever since he first stepped foot inside the Octagon. Also, he told that many fans had their doubts as to whether he had the skills to back up his confidence. However, he always manages to prove most of his doubter’s wrong time and time again. O’Malley gave a few clues on what will be his next move. On a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, O’Malley revealed that, he was ready to fight in December, but the UFC already had their headlining bouts set for that PPV.
Now we know that his first fight will be sometime in early 2024.
O’Malley credits Data White’s supports for his success
Sean O’Malley playfully expressed his gratitude to Dana White and other high-ranking UFC officials after Sterling’s comments about his fighting style.
In the past, Aljamain Sterling claimed that Sean was worried about fighting him. Dana White defended Sugar, stating that he would set up a different fight for the title. He also scolded the then bantamweight champion (Aljo) for making it seem like he was avoiding the fight with O’Malley.
Sean O’Malley told the press that Dana White revealed this to him after he knocked out Aljamain Sterling at UFC 292.

At just 28 years old, Sugar has already became UFC’s new superstar. O’Malley has garnered an enormous fanbase through his unique personality and ability to perform under the lights. ‘Sugar’ was already regarded as one of the UFC’s most popular fighters prior to winning the bantamweight title, but his highlight-reel finish over Sterling has boosted his fame even more.
