The summer just got hotter as ONE Championship announced two exhilarating Muay Thai fights for June’s ONE Friday Fights 114.
This edition of the hottest weekly martial arts event series is set to take place on Friday, 27 June, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Headlining the show will be a barnburner between two heavy hitters Felipe Lobo and Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai. This bantamweight Muay Thai clash is guaranteed to deliver fireworks when the two enter the ring.
The man who holds dynamite in his left hand, Kulabdam has been on a tear recently, winning three straight fights against Suablack Tor Pran49, John Lineker, and Ferzan Cicek.
“Left Meteorite” has been active in ONE since 2019, and a fourth consecutive victory could earn him a spot in the top five rankings.
Standing opposite him will be the #3-ranked bantamweight Muay Thai contender, who will enter the contest following a TKO victory over Thai veteran Saemapetch Fairtex. All four of his promotional victories have come against Thai stars. Now, he will look to annihilate his fifth Thai opponent.
In another contest, Thai legend and crowd-pleaser Seksan Or Kwanmuang will return to action against compatriot Muangthai PK Saenchai in a 140-pound Muay Thai showdown.
The 36-year-old known as “The Man Who Yields To No One” is renowned for his ultra-aggressive style and relentless attacking game.
Seksan made his debut in the inaugural edition of ONE Friday Fights against Tyson Harrison, instantly becoming a fan favourite in the combat sports world. He went on to rack up eight consecutive victories, winning a six-figure contract in the process.
His opponent, as his nickname suggests “Elbow Zombie,” is a master of elbow attacks. The 31-year-old Muangthai is a multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion with a ONE record of 9-4. Now, he will look to extend his winning streak to three.
