After reports that the Floyd Mayweather vs Tenshin Nasukawa bout was off, apparently things have been settled between Rizin FF and Floyd’s team to go ahead with the exhibition match which would be three rounds, boxing rules with no judges and the result would not reflect on either fighter’s record.

Floyd held a press conference at his gym in Las Vegas, promoting the fights and answering a few questions about all topics mainly focusing Conor Mcgregor, Khabib Nurmagomedov and his next step after the exhibition on 31st of December in Japan.

About Mcgregor and Khabib talking about him, Floyd had this to say. “I’m the face of just combat sports period. Whether it’s boxing or MMA, I’m the face of it all. … I’m not even worried about those guys. Conor McGregor, he already know what happened with that. Khabib running his mouth. He wants to get in there, I’ll take care of him, too.”

“I’m always the A-side”, says Floyd Mayweather

Questioned about whether he was interested in a MMA or kickboxing rules fight, Floyd was adamant that he will only compete in boxing rules because he is the ‘A side’.

“Everything is always on my times. I’m the A-side always. I’m not going to fight in an MMA ring. If I do fight in a MMA ring, boxing only. Everything is my rules, it’s my way. I worked hard to put myself in the position that I call all the shots, simple and plain. He may be a kickboxer, but he got to abide by my rules, simple and plain. And if he raises his feet, it’s in the contract, I get some more money.”
