The main event of tonight’s UFC Vegas 104 was a middleweight rematch between Roman Dolidze and Marvin Vettori.

Two years prior, at UFC 286 in London, Vettori and Dolidze had faced off, with the Italian winning by unanimous decision.

Since the victory, Marvin Vettori (19-8-1 MMA) had only engaged in one fight, losing to Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision in June 2023.

Since losing that earlier decision to Vettori, Roman Dolidze (15-3 MMA) had gone 2-1. In his most recent Octagon appearances, “The Caucasian” had defeated Kevin Holland and Anthony Smith.

The main event of UFC Vegas 104 tonight was a fierce, back-and-forth match that lasted 25 minutes. Although Marvin Vettori seemed to get off to a good start, Roman Dolidze’s offensive pressure and volume were the deciding factor in rounds two through five. The Georgian managed to keep “The Italian Dream” on his heels for most of the last 20 minutes with a string of noteworthy goals. A well-earned unanimous decision victory was given to Dolidze following five rounds of competition.

Roman Dolidze defeated Marvin Vettori by unanimous decision (49-46 x3) in the official UFC Vegas 104 results.
