Marks has pleaded not guilty, but he remains in custody with a $1.7 million bond. His current partner 26-years old Maya Maxwell is also facing charges.

In February earlier this year, MMA India reported that Cedric Marks escaped from his prison transport van and was later recaptured after a manhunt. Cedric Marks last competed inside the cage back in 2018 where he lost via TKO.

He compiled a record of 30-27 in his professional career and was on a six-fight losing streak. Nicknamed as “Spiderman”, he also worked as a trainer in a gym several years ago.

According to Police, he was also a “person of interest” in the disappearance of the mother of one of his children back in 2009.
