Former UFC fighter Angela Magana allegedly in coma - but social media doesn't believe her.

Former UFC strawweight Angela ‘Your Majesty’ Magana is allegedly in a coma after complications following spinal surgery. The news was posted on her Facebook page by her coaching staff.

Puerto Rico based fighter, Angela Magana was set to fight in Combate Americas against Kyra Batara prior to the surgery news.

“There have complications and they cannot wake her up. They are trying many options we will keep you up to date. Thank you for the outpouring of concern and love.” the coaching staff wrote.

According to another update on her Facebook page, a Nerve block caused a rare neurological disorder which led to an emergency neurological surgery.

“What happened to Angela, she herniated a disc while training for a fight, she went for a nerve block to continue training. Nerve block caused a rare neurological disorder, cauda equina, rushed to emergency neurosurgery and hasn’t woken since surgery this AM currently in a coma.”

Even though her social media handle gave descriptive details about her condition, some users were still not convinced and said that she was faking her condition.

Angela Magana had previously lost all her fights in the UFC, she is currently riding on seven fights losing streak. The last time she won a fight was back in 2011 when she Avery Vilche at the CITR promotions.
