Jon Jones is all set to make his return to the UFC. He will fight Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 232 in December and this fight announcement has already made huge headlines.

While everyone is quite excited about the return of Jones, the guys over at Fox Sports got a bit too excited and tagged the wrong Jon Jones on Twitter.

If you are not familiar with this ‘second’ Jon Jones, he is a comedian who was dragged into the MMA scene with similar wrong mentions on Twitter.

His popularity among the MMA fans is on the rise thanks to his quirky replies to such mentions. In fact, he is so popular in the MMA Twitter circle that Bellator MMA even invited him as a guest for one of their events recently.

Coming back to the Tweet from Fox Sports, Jones had a quirky reply to this as well. You can see the tweet from him below.

“I guarantee that no one is asking to see me in the octagon, FOX Sports Asia. But the more important question: When will you start broadcasting competitive cat petting championships? My sport and my craft deserve recognition!”

What do you think of this whole mishap? And more importantly, what do you think of Jon Jones (the real one) returning? Let us know in the comments.
