Jokes aside…Francis Ngannou is now 5-0 in the Octagon with a brilliant career still infront of him and has now moved to Las Vegas,though not for the reasons that immediately come to mind.
He has an amazing story behind him, having trained in boxing,following his father’s legacy, and resisted the temptation of joining local gangs before moving from Cameroon to Paris where he was homeless for some time before he began training for free in August 2013 under Fernand Lopez Owonyebe at the MMA Factory where the coach introduced him to MMA.
His last fight was in January 2017 where he finished Andrei Arlovski in the first round itself via TKO ,earning Performance of the Night honours.
He has now decided to take his training a notch higher with the new Performance Institute being available in the UFC headquarters which tilted his decision in favour of moving to Las Vegas.
He has stated that a title fight may be possible in 2017.
