Our Friday Fighter of the Week is Ritu Phogat. Hailing from Bhiwani, Haryana, Ritu comes from wrestling royalty. Her sisters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari are considered two of India’s greatest female wrestlers. Now she has outlined and set her goals for 2020 while gearing up for her 2nd professional fight.
Back in February of last year, Phogat had signed for the popular Asian MMA promotion ONE Championship. She later made her professional MMA debut in November at ONE Championship: Age of Dragons against Kim Nam Hee.
In her latest fight which took place at ONE : King of Jungle she dominated Wu Chiao Chen En Route To A Unanimous Decision Victory to go 2-0 in Professional MMA. The MMA India show congratulates Ritu Phogat good luck on her impressive victory at ONE Championship
