BRAVE 25 OFF THE RECORD is a series of videos where BRAVE Combat Federation puts the fans in the driver’s seat for the first steps of fight week. As BRAVE 25 approaches, top fighters from around the world start to touch down in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, for the most explosive card of the year. The show takes place on August 30th and features a Lightweight title fight, with reigning world champion Luan “Miau” Santiago taking on top contender Cleiton “Predator” Silva.
The show will also be marked by two amazing Super Lightweight match-ups, as BRAVE CF continues to develop the newly-formed division, a step forward in the direction of safety for fighters around the world. Leonardo “Macarrão” Mafra has once again heaped praise on the initiative.
The Kings MMA fighter arrived in Belo Horizonte from Huntington Beach, California, where he did his entire training camp under legendary coach Rafael Cordeiro and talked in length on this edition of BRAVE OFF THE RECORD about his wishes to become the next Super Lightweight world champion.
“I’m very happy that BRAVE CF has come forward and created this division (…) I was hoping they build that division because it’s the right weight class for a lot of fighters. This is a perfect division, it will soon a very crowded division (…) I will do my best to be the champion”, claimed Leonardo, before being swarmed by fans in the entrance of the fighters’ hotel.
BRAVE OFF THE RECORD also caught up with Erivan Pereira and Mehdi Baghdad, who face each other in the other Super Lightweight bout of the card, as well as Djamil Chan, Leonardo’s opponent, and Nkosi Ndebele, who arrives from South Africa, to take on Caio Gregório in the preliminary card.
