Kron Gracie, son of Mixed Martial Arts and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legend Rickson Gracie today made his UFC debut where he won via Rear Naked Choke in the first round against Alex Caceres.

Kron Gracie stepped inside the Octagon 4-0 as a pro, he had previously fought under RIZIN FF banner and won all of them via submission. As Kron won his UFC debut, former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor took to Twitter to congratulate him and welcomed him to the UFC.

Enter the mix young son. Congratulations.” McGregor wrote.

Earlier he had tweeted that he was very excited to see Kron make his UFC debut and paid tribute to the Gracie family for their contribution to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Meanwhile, Kron said during the post-fight press conference that it’s cool that Conor McGregor respects the Gracie family’s contribution to MMA.
It’s kinda cool to get the respect…..he respects the Gracie family because it’s true that none of us would be here without my uncle creating the UFC, so yeah it’s kind of surreal sometimes that I am in the situation that I am in,” Kron said.
I am here to make some noise, I am here to make some problems for everybody“. He said.
