Last weekend at UFC Boston, Greg Hardy took on Aussie Ben Sosoli at the TD Garden Arena in Boston. The fight, however, ended in a ‘No Contest’.

Initially, Greg Hardy won the fight via unanimous decision, he ended up using an inhaler in his corner after the round two. However, he said that the commission had approved it.

Now in a recent interview, the former cowboy defensive end has said that he never needed the inhaler during the fight and instead insisted that he wanted it to help his asthma.

I didn’t need it at all,” Greg Hardy said on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on Wednesday. “I wanted to take the inhaler because I have asthma and I was at a breathing disadvantage. I think it’s something that we’re gonna have to fight out in court and figure it out,” Greg Hardy said. “The long and short of it is I had no idea [it was against the rules].” (H/T –
