Former NFL star and UFC heavyweight Greg Hardy is slowly turning himself into a perennial contender.

Hardy started his UFC career with a disappointing disqualification courtesy of an illegal knee, which went as a ‘L’ on his record. However after that, Hardy was able to showcase his athletic background, as he absolutely starched his opponent in the first round.

Hardy’s grappling however was still a question mark, on which his next opponent tried to exploit on. Hardy however was able to stuff that takedown and butcher his opponent with punches to complete a two-fight first round knockout streak. That being said, Hardy wants to push his limits further as he vows to become a perfect and a complete fighter.

“My two main coaches are Daniel Jolly and Din Thomas, and these guys push me to be something that the world has never seen,” Hardy told MMA Junkie on Thursday. “Nobody in that group that I’ve mentioned, treats me like a heavyweight. I train more like a middleweight. For a middleweight you don’t understand, you got to be the most dangerous man on the planet to even get into the top 10, 15, 20. That’s how we train. We’re going to be the most complete, most dangerous, most vicious fighter of all time.”
