Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal are all set to battle each other at UFC 244 which will take place on November 2 at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.

This fight is also special because it was in special demand from the public and also because it will feature UFC’s newest championship title i.e BMF title (Baddest Motherf**ker title).

It’s such a big fight that not only the fans but also former welterweight and middleweight champion Georges St-Pierre is excited for it. In a recent interview with fansided, he revealed that even though he doesn’t watch many fights live, he is extremely excited about UFC 244.

I don’t watch fights as much as I did before, but this is going to be one that I’m going to tune into,” said St-Pierre. “What makes it interesting is the character of these fighters.”

GSP had an epic rivalry with Nate’s elder brother Nick Diaz. The pair fought against each other at the UFC 158 back in 2013 and GSP won the fight via unanimous decision. After that fight, Diaz called out GSP numerous times for a rematch, but it never came into fruition. Six years later it both fighters have retired from the sport, but GSP feels that Nick could have been a champion when Tyron Woodley held the welterweight title.

I think just it’s sad to see a guy like him waste his best years,” St-Pierre said. “I think he could have been champion, especially when Woodley was there. Stylistically it would have been a nightmare for a guy like Tyron Woodley.” (H/T –

Nick Diaz was suspended for three-years back in 2015 after losing to Anderson Silva via unanimous decision. Diaz tested positive for marijuana.
