Football star Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no stranger to compliments. Throughout his illustrious career, Zlatan has received praise from all over the world.
And last day, he got some love from the Mixed Martial Arts world thanks to Gunnar Nelson. The SBG Ireland fighter shared a video of Zlatan’s 500th career goal. If you didn’t know it yet, Zlatan broke the internet with his 500th career goal which was one of a kind spinning volley.
The goal came in LA Galaxy’s match against Toronto which Toronto won 5-3 in the end. Despite the defeat of LA Galaxy, Zlatan’s goal went viral due to the sheer brilliance that he showed to score.
Nelson also shared this video on Twitter and heaped praise on Zlatan. The UFC star also tagged Zlatan as ‘fellow martial artist’ which is a reference of the Swedish footballer’s Taekwondo black belt. You can see the tweet from Nelson below.

As for Nelson, he is currently 16-3 in his professional career and has been away from the octagon for more than a year. His last fight came against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC Fight Night 113. The fight ended in favour of Ponzinibbio via a first round KO.
