The relationship between Hasbulla Magomedov and Khabib Nurmagomedov- two of the biggest names in mixed martial arts, is very well known to the masses. However, when the two MMA icons engage in combat, that is one massive treat for the fight fans.
As we approach UFC 280- one of the biggest UFC events this year, headlined by the much-anticipated title fight between Charles Oliveira vs Islam Makhachev for the vacant lightweight championship, Hasbulla will be present at Makhachev’s corner to root for him this Saturday night at the Etihad Arena.
Now, the affiliation between Hasbulla and Khabib is quite popular. Since Hasbulla’s rise in popularity, he has often been seen together with the former UFC lightweight champion, and the two Dagestani natives even share many similarities- from appearance to their signature poses, for which Hasbulla has even earned the nickname ‘Mini Khabib’.
As the two crossed paths in Dubai yesterday, Khabib made a banter on his longtime friend Hasbulla, whom ‘The Eagle’ alleged that the two aren’t close anymore like they were before, and since Hasbulla signed a deal with the UFC itself, the teenager has allegedly not been humble anymore- and Khabib said that he was going to ‘humble’ Hasbulla.
The words followed up with the two taking it to the mats- with Hasbulla performing a takedown on Khabib and holding him in submission. However, Khabib would later turn the tables, before the two disengaged with smiling faces.

Last week, Hasbulla broke the internet after announcing that he has signed a deal with the UFC. While the details are scarce at the moment, the news has become a hot topic. While the promotion doesn’t have a 30-pound weight class, it’s possible, however, that Hasbulla has something set up with the UFC to “fight” in something other than an officially sanctioned MMA match, such as a grappling exhibition bout or something of similar fashion.
