Hasbulla Magomedov, the 19-year-old mixed martial arts sensation and one of the most recognizable faces in the combat sports scene, has dropped a bombshell, announcing on Instagram that he has signed a deal to fight in the UFC.

The rumors are true: Hasbulla Magomedov

A social media and TikTok star from Dagestan, Hasbulla is very well-known in the MMA community. While he is apparently loved by many fans and wrestlers, he is best known for his friendship with Khabib Nurmagomedov. ‘The Eagle’ and ‘Mini Khabib’ have been close friends for a while and that has helped him get closer to the UFC.

However as it turns out, we might be very close to actually seeing Hasbulla perform inside the Octagon.

“The rumors are true. I have officially signed a deal to fight in the UFC! Details will be revealed by the end of the year,” Hasbulla wrote on Instagram. “Thank you to UFC, Dana White, Khabib Nurmagomedov, SurkhAY Sungurov, Justin Ozuna, and everyone who helped make this dream become a reality. All my fans will be able to buy a Hasbulla fight kit soon on UFC.com and hasbulla.com.”

The teenager suffers from Growth Hormone deficiency, a genetic disorder that occurs when the brain’s pituitary gland (responsible for producing most hormones) can’t produce Growth Hormone (GH), for which, Hasbulla is about 1 meter tall and weighs around 30 pounds along with several child like features.

While the UFC doesn’t have a 30 pound weight class, it’s possible, however, that Hasbulla has something set up with the UFC to “fight” in something other than an officially sanctioned MMA match, such as a grappling exhibition bout or something of similar fashion. However, as he himself stated, we need to wait until the end of the year to know the details of Hasbulla’s debut in the Octagon.

In the meantime, Hasbulla Magomedov’s signing has already caused many reactions from fighters, including former double champion Henry Cejudo, who joked that he would fight the influencer on his debut.

“Now that the cat’s out of the bag we might as well make this official,” Cejudo tweeted.
