Former UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion Henry Cejudo and multiple division boxing champ Canelo Alvarez had an exchange of world over rising boxing sensation Ryan Garcia.

Canelo (55-1-2) put his WBA and WBC super middleweight world titles on the line last month when he squared off with Avni Yildiri. The result was a one-sided beatdown for Alvarez, who emerged victorious by way of third-round TKO.

Cejudo announced retirement after he defeated Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. However, he has been trying to stay relevant for a comeback fight by initiating beef on Twitter with Petr Yan, Cody Garbrandt, and Sean O’Malley. His manager Ali Abdelaziz had earlier said that Henry will only come out of retirement for a super fight, either against Alexander Volkanovski or Ryan Garcia.

The combats sports standouts, Cejudo and Canelo, recently crossed paths and had an exchange of words regarding Alvarez’s teammate Ryan Garcia. Henry Cejudo and ‘King Ryan’ have engaged in online feuds in the past and ‘Triple C’ seized the opportunity to bring up boxing’s budding star during his encounter with Alvarez.

Ryan Garcia and Henry Cejudo have their own feud

Garcia scored a brutal seventh-round TKO victory over Campbell on Saturday during a highly-anticipated battle between the two lightweights. Campbell was able to score a knockdown in the second round of the fight but Garcia was able to survive it and hold on. In the seventh round, Garcia landed a nasty liver punch that left Campbell unable to continue, declaring him the winner.

Taking to his social media the day after Garcia scored the vicious knockout over Campbell, Cejudo once again reiterated his desire for a matchup against the boxing world champion.

To which Ryan Garcia responded that he wants to mangle Cejudo as he’s taken things personally.

Oh yeah, I’m going to drop him one day for sure. I’m going to beat the sh*t out of him. No, there hasn’t (been talking about a contract yet). But if anybody that I want to beat up from the MMA world, it’d have to be him. I don’t like him. He just talks too much sh*t. He’s too much of a sh*t talker.
