Henry Cejudo took on TJ Dillashaw at UFC on ESPN 1, where the two of them faced each other in a Champion vs Champion fight. The fight ended in controversy when Dillashaw was knocked down a number of times by Cejudo, and the referee stopped it within the first minute. Cejudo has now come out to talk about what he felt while fighting Dillashaw.

Dillashaw had come into the fight on the 19th January after coming down to Flyweight from Bantamweight. Given the fact, that Dillashaw was the Bantamweight Champion made the fight even more important. The fight saw Cejudo come out of the gate swinging and hit Dillashaw with several big shots to the face which dropped him four times before the referee stopped the fight at 34 seconds.

In an interview with Chael Sonnen, Henry Cejudo talked about fighting TJ Dillashaw at 135 pounds, for the Bantamweight Title this time. While talking about the prospective fight, he said that he devoured Dillashaw and spit his bones out.

“He better thank God for that ref,  because he wasn’t going to make it out that minute.”

During the interview, Henry Cejudo went on to say that it appeared that the fight was set between him and Dillashaw at 135 pounds. However, he confessed that the date was not set, and in the UFC things were never sure, as there could also be a fight between Marlon Moraes and Dillashaw in the future.
