Henry Cejudo ramping up the mind games with Jose Aldo even as Petr Yan lobbies for title fight

The former UFC and WEC featherweight champion Jose Aldo recently fought and lost his bantamweight debut to fellow countryman and the former WSOF bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes. However, according to a vast majority of fans and pundits alike, and even according to the UFC’s bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, Aldo won the fight and was robbed due to faulty scoring by the judges. Cejudo had then called out Aldo, who has now seemingly accepted his challenge. Thus, Cejduo is now stepping up his mind games with Aldo.

On the other hand, fellow top UFC bantamweight contender Peter Yan is also in the mix of things, and in the title picture. Yan too is now lobbying for a title shot after defeating former champion Urijah Faber at UFC 245.

White while addressing various media personnel had previously revealed that Cejudo told him he believes Aldo clearly won the fight and the judges scored it wrong. Thus, Cejudo had asked the UFC President to treat Aldo fairly as if he won the fight and to reward the former Brazilian champion with a title shot against Triple C.

Aldo, who is the self-proclaimed “King of Rio” had accepted Cejudo’s challenge by shooting multiple different guns at Cejudo’s picture in a firing range. He then posted that video on Twitter along with the following caption:

I am the King of Rio and you are Snow White’s security guard! Sign the contract and let’s get it right. @henrycejudo @danawhite.

Cejudo, who is not someone to back down from trash-talking, replied with the following tweet:

You are going to need a bigger gun to take me out Cinderella! This man is made of steel and sex appeal! Bend the knee you Mexican looking, Dana White.

Later Peter Yan joined the conversation and lobbied for a title shot of his own. Here’s what he had to say:

The only title fight that makes sense is No Mercy vs. Triple Clown.
