Garcia scored a brutal seventh-round TKO victory over Campbell on Saturday during a highly-anticipated battle between the two lightweights. Campbell was able to score a knockdown in the second round of the fight but Garcia was able to survive it and hold on. In the seventh round, Garcia landed a nasty liver punch that left Campbell unable to continue, declaring him the winner.
What an incredible shot by Luke Campbell to knock down Ryan Garcia in the 2nd round #GarciaCampbell! 💥🥊

Taking to his social media the day after Garcia scored the vicious knockout over Campbell, Cejudo once again reiterated his desire for a matchup against the boxing world champion. Using his signature “bend the knee” catchphrase, Cejudo used the knockdown as an opportunity to get under Garcia’s skin.

Garcia and Cejudo going back and forth
22-year-old boxing sensation Ryan Garcia spoke out on TMZ and shared his views on the recent combat sports news. Garcia chimed in on a future fight with Devin Haney and the boxing comebacks of Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya. Chiefly, he also expressed his views on former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo, who held the Flyweight and Bantamweight straps.
“King Ryan” and Henry Cejudo have no love lost for each other ever since the latter officially retired from MMA. Ryan Garcia told TMZ Sports that he wants to mangle Cejudo as he’s taken things personally.
“Oh yeah, I’m going to drop him one day for sure. I’m going to beat the sh*t out of him. No, there hasn’t (been talking about a contract yet). But if anybody that I want to beat up from the MMA world, it’d have to be him. I don’t like him. He just talks too much sh*t. He’s too much of a sh*t talker.”

Cejudo announced retirement after he defeated Dominick Cruz at UFC 249. However, he has been trying to stay relevant for a comeback fight by initiating beef on Twitter with Petr Yan, Cody Garbrandt, and Sean O’Malley. His manager Ali Abdelaziz had earlier said that Henry will only come out of retirement for a super fight, either against Alexander Volkanovski or Ryan Garcia.
